Reading Club for Years 7 to 9

There is a new reading club in the Library at lunchtimes (12.50 and 1.20pm) everyday except Thursday.

You must be in Year 7, 8 or 9 to attend and you will be able to listen to a story read aloud or choose any book or magazine to read on your own.

You don't need to sign up, just drop in.

The Homework Club is back by popular demand!

If you find homework is a problem then you should sign up for Homework Club and get it done before you go home!

Homework Club is in the Digital Research Rooms and Library at 3:30pm - 4:15pm every day except Thursday. Sign-up each break time (on the sheet outside the Nurse's room).

Search and review reading books with the new on-line database

Last years English reading book course is now updated to take advantage of the brand new database module in Moodle.

Click on the database icon and use a keyword search to browse for books, reserve a book and post your reviews on-line.

Welcome to the E-Learning pages at Rashid School for Boys.

This year promises to be an exciting one for E-learning at Rashid School for Boys. The developers of Moodle have bought us a new version of the E-Learning system that is easier to use and more powerful than ever. Mr Keech has been hard at work over the summer upgrading the system at Rashid to take advantage of these new features, some of which include:

Full Arabic language support - a Great feature!
Student web logs (Blogging)
Enhanced interface to make it easier to build exciting lessons

This should result in some fantastic and enjoyable lessons with a healthy serving of new technology, just the way you like them... Watch this space!
